AI Engineer - Python & FastAPI Backend

• Design, train, and optimize AI/ML models tailored for practical business use cases. Develop and maintain high-performance REST APIs using the FastAPI framework. Integrate advanced LLM services from OpenAI and Hugging Face into core backend systems. Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and manage asynchronous tasks. Handle comprehensive data preprocessing, feature engineering, and rigorous model evaluation. Work with SQL databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL to manage project data. Document system architecture and collaborate in technical brainstorming sessions.

• 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in AI/ML development. Strong proficiency in Python and experience with at least one ML framework (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch). Hands-on experience building backend APIs specifically with FastAPI. Proven track record of developing at least one functional AI model (chatbot, classification, or predictive tool). Solid understanding of model evaluation metrics, overfitting, and JSON-based systems. Familiarity with modern AI ecosystems like LangChain, GPT, or Hugging Face.
