Copy Editor for Academic & HSS Publishing

Join a leading content management team to refine and polish high-quality academic manuscripts. You will ensure grammatical precision and adherence to international style guides while collaborating directly with global authors and publishers.

• Check and correct mechanical errors, inconsistencies, and infelicities of grammar usage.
• Fix syntax, punctuation, and content errors following CMS, APA, or MLA style guides.
• Liaise with authors to review copy-edited files and clean up final versions.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining strict quality standards.
• Work closely with publishers to produce books tailored to the intended audience.

• 1 to 4 years of experience in Style and Language editing, specifically in HSS.
• Excellent English language skills with a strong grasp of syntax and punctuation.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to different publisher-specific guidelines.
• Strong communication skills for effective author coordination.
