Marketing Project Manager (STMJ Central Marketing)

Join our STMJ Central Marketing Team to lead high-visibility digital programs that drive global journal awareness and author acquisition. You will be responsible for spearheading data-driven, automated campaigns across scientific and medical portfolios while collaborating with international stakeholders to optimize Elseviers market presence.

• Take day-to-day ownership of a high-visibility Journal Marketing Programme to grow author acquisition and readership.
• Plan and execute multi-channel acquisition campaigns ensuring a unified customer journey and consistent brand experience.
• Define and track KPIs, budgets, and timelines while continuously optimizing programmatic and automated initiatives.
• Facilitate regular forums with publishing, data analytics, and sales teams to surface new opportunities.
• Document learnings, playbooks, and SOPs to scale successful marketing strategies across the organization.
• Identify operational trends and translate commercial goals into integrated, data-led marketing actions.

• Possess 35 years of marketing experience within scholarly publishing or the journal industry, preferably in STM.
• Proven track record in end-to-end project management with a result-driven mindset.
• Deep familiarity with marketing automation, segmentation, Adobe Analytics, and email marketing practices.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data interrogation and stakeholder presentations.
• Excellent influencing skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas to senior-level audiences.
• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence tools is highly desirable for workflow management.
