Quality Assurance Engineer - IT Testing I

• Analyze project requirements and coordinate closely with Business Analysts or Subject Matter Experts.
• Identify critical test conditions and develop comprehensive test cases for various scenarios.
• Participate in peer reviews for test plans and maintain high-quality documentation.
• Execute manual and automated test scripts according to established Test Plans.
• Identify, document, and track software defects to ensure timely resolution.
• Validate release notes and evaluate overall test results for software readiness.
• Submit daily status reports and proactively communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Coordinate testing activities between Onshore and Offshore teams as required.

• Possess 2 to 4 years of solid experience in manual testing processes.
• Hold a full-time Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field.
• Strong grasp of SDLC, Agile Methodology, and fundamental testing concepts.
• Hands-on proficiency in writing SQL Queries for data validation.
• Experience testing iOS and Android devices, focusing on UI and API communication.
• Familiarity with Selenium, Cucumber framework, SoapUI, or Postman is highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for global collaboration.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and mobile cloud tools like pCloudy is an advantage.
