Job Summary:
Join a global services leader to own the end-to-end AI data lifecycle using AWS and Databricks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring data governance and quality, building robust pipelines that power dependable AI model outcomes for our enterprise clients.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Translate complex AI use cases into technical data requirements including features, labels, and metadata. Develop and maintain an AI data roadmap aligned with the TE Sensors business unit products. Build and operate incremental, observed, and reliable ingestion pipelines from enterprise sources. Establish BU-oriented AI Data Governance using Databricks Unity Catalog and AWS controls. Implement automated data quality engineering including schema validation and distribution checks. Optimize data storage and compute costs through partitioning and Delta compaction strategies. Provide production operations support, including runbooks, root cause analysis, and pipeline recovery.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related Engineering field. Minimum 5+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering and Data Management. Proven expertise in the AWS and Databricks ecosystem (Unity Catalog, Delta Lake). Strong understanding of AI/ML data foundations and data quality engineering. Ability to manage PII/PCI/Confidential tagging and retention rules. Experience with automated quality checks and distribution stability monitoring. Relevant certifications like Databricks Data Engineer Professional or AWS Solutions Architect are highly valued.
