Senior FreeSWITCH Telephony Engineer (Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled FreeSWITCH Implementation Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain high-availability VoIP platforms. This is a critical role requiring deep expertise in SIP signaling, WebRTC, and real-time call handling within production environments.

• Install, configure, and maintain FreeSWITCH from scratch in a production environment. Design and implement complex call flows, multi-tenant dialplans, IVRs, and conferencing. Troubleshoot SIP signaling and RTP media issues using tools like sngrep and tcpdump. Develop custom dialplans and logic using XML, Lua, JavaScript, or Python. Integrate VoIP systems with CRMs, billing platforms, and AI voice bots via ESL and REST APIs. Configure WebRTC stacks including DTLS-SRTP, ICE, and SIP over WSS for browser-based calling. Monitor system performance, analyze CDRs, and perform root cause analysis on production incidents.

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in FreeSWITCH development and implementation. Strong proficiency in VoIP protocols including SIP, RTP, RTCP, and WebRTC. Solid Linux administration skills specifically on CentOS or Ubuntu platforms. Experience with event-driven architecture and the FreeSWITCH Event Socket Library (ESL). Ability to handle NAT traversal, firewall configurations, and RTP port management. Immediate joiners or those with a notice period of up to 30 days are preferred.
