Programme Coordinator for Advanced Labs

Sricity International University is seeking a dedicated Programme Coordinator to oversee physical and computing laboratories. This role focuses on technical liaison, asset management, and providing crucial support for advanced manufacturing workshops.

• Assist in preparing layout plans for physical, computer, and workshop laboratories including equipment placement under the guidance of the Deputy Dean.
• Draft essential technical documentation for electrical loads, utilities, and hardware/networking infrastructure requirements.
• Prepare safety and compliance documents covering fire safety, ventilation protocols, emergency egress, and general EHS standards.
• Act as the technical liaison between the School of Advanced Manufacturing (SAM), university facility management, and IT infrastructure teams.
• Conduct assigned site inspections to verify that completed structural and technical work aligns perfectly with SAM requirements.
• Develop draft technical specifications for hardware and equipment procurement processes.
• Support technical evaluations of vendors and oversee the complete delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of assets.
• Maintain precise calibration schedules, preventive maintenance logs, AMC records, and an audit-ready digital asset register.
• Manage SAM software licences, identical workstation configurations, updates, and overall laboratory session-readiness.
• Provide direct technical facilitation for student capstone projects and hands-on support to faculty members during practical sessions.

• Proven technical understanding of laboratory layouts, hardware installation, and networking infrastructure setup.
• Experience in drafting technical documentation, safety compliance briefs, or procurement specifications.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional campus departments such as IT and facilities management.
• Proficiency in digital asset tracking, software license management, and maintaining preventive maintenance logs.
• Strong organizational skills to ensure all labs and workshops remain fully session-ready and audit-compliant.
