Job Summary: Join a leading infrastructure firm to drive end-to-end procurement and mobilization of heavy machinery and transportation for large-scale road and bridge projects. This role is pivotal for ensuring cost-effective equipment hiring and seamless logistics coordination across multiple sites. Roles & Responsibilities: - Sourcing and negotiating rates with vendors for heavy equipment including cranes, hydra, TMs, excavators, and trailers. Managing the complete arrangement of machinery and material transportation for infrastructure projects. Executing detailed rate comparisons and releasing Purchase Orders (PO) or Hire Orders. Continuous coordination with site teams and accounts for timely mobilization and payment processing. Maintaining a robust vendor database and ensuring strict compliance management and cost control.
Requirements: - Graduate or Diploma holder, preferably in Mechanical or Civil Engineering. Minimum 10 years of extensive experience specifically in machinery hiring and transportation logistics. Proven track record in bridge, flyover, or road construction projects. Exceptional negotiation skills and a strong existing network of equipment vendors.
