Grant Writer - Partnerships & Development

Gram Vaani is looking for a passionate Grant Writer to secure funding that supports our mission of social impact. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities and communicating our value to global foundations and government agencies.

• Research and identify potential funding opportunities across strategic themes like Youth, Gender, and Climate resilience.
• Develop and write compelling grant proposals tailored to specific funder requirements.
• Collaborate with program and finance teams to gather data and build accurate project budgets.
• Maintain a tracking system for deadlines, application progress, and reporting requirements.
• Cultivate relationships with existing and potential funders through networking and meetings.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of proposals to implement feedback for future applications.

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or Non-profit Management.
• Proven experience in grant writing within the non-profit or social tech industry.
• Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize complex program data into persuasive narratives.
• Detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently.
• Familiarity with social tech landscapes and financial reporting for grants.
