Join Newgen KnowledgeWorks as a Senior Copy Editor, working remotely from anywhere in India. We are looking for language experts to handle high-level editing for academic journals while maintaining global style standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive language and style editing for academic journals.
Adhere to established style guides including APA, AMA, and Chicago Manual of Style.
Handle complex collation tasks and ensure document consistency.
Execute both Level 1 and Level 2 copyediting proficiently.
Manage production deadlines while ensuring zero-compromise quality standards.
Utilize MS Word, Track Changes, and digital publishing templates effectively.
Requirements:
4 to 8 years of solid experience in copyediting (Level 1 & Level 2).
Expertise in Language Editing and Collation processes.
Exceptional command over the English language (written and verbal).
Advanced proficiency in MS Word and digital editing tools.
Experience with academic or scientific publishing is highly preferred.
