Shivanta Business Solutions is hiring a dedicated Infrastructure Engineer to lead the optimization of virtualized systems and automation workflows. If you have deep expertise in VMware vSphere Suite and advanced backup solutions like Cohesity, this startup-centric role is perfect for you.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, build, and configure VMware vSphere, NSX, and vRealize Automation environments for high performance.
Manage NetBackup and Cohesity Backup systems to ensure robust data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
Automate system tasks and VM provisioning utilizing Ansible and VMware vRealize Automation.
Handle configuration management and infrastructure security through Saltstack and patching best practices.
Lead on-premises to Cloud migrations and create landing zones on platforms like AWS or Azure.
Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Systems or Infrastructure Engineer, preferably in a startup environment.
Hands-on expertise with VMware vSphere, vRealize Automation (vRA), and Cohesity Backup solutions.
Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows Server administration.
Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell, YAML, or Python for infrastructure automation.
Solid understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and DHCP.
