Manager - Legal (Fintech & Payments)

Easebuzz is looking for a dynamic Legal Manager to join our Pune headquarters. You will provide strategic legal counsel on fintech regulations, cross-border payments, and commercial transactions, playing a key role in ensuring compliance within India's evolving digital payment landscape.

• Counsel the business on commercial and regulatory matters, specifically negotiating with regional and commercial banks.
• Facilitate local and cross-border payment compliance, ensuring adherence to AML and payment regulations.
• Structure, draft, and negotiate complex commercial transactions and merchant agreements.
• Manage corporate policies, employee offer letters, and resolve pre-litigation legal disputes.
• Develop and implement internal legal procedures to align with business objectives and legal compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from an accredited institution; LLM or MBA is a plus.
• 3+ years of legal experience, with at least 2 years in a law firm or fintech/financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of payments, data protection, and technology-related commercial transactions.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex legal issues to non-legal stakeholders.
• Proven track record in ethics, integrity, and providing strategic legal advice that aligns with business strategy.
