The Indian School of Business (ISB) is seeking a Research Associate for a significant Tuberculosis care project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. This role offers hands-on experience in implementing randomized control trials and managing field research operations in Punjab.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Oversee the implementation of Randomized Control Trial (RCT) protocols and data collection processes.
Train and manage survey teams, supervising logistics for all field activities in Amritsar.
Liaise with key government stakeholders and partner organizations to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor databases, perform data cleaning, and prepare datasets for analysis using MS Excel.
Assist in writing project reports, policy memos, and academic manuscripts based on research findings.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Public Health, Economics, Public Policy, Epidemiology, or Development Studies.
At least 2 years of professional work experience, ideally within the healthcare sector.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of programming or statistical tools is a significant plus.
Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi; working knowledge of Punjabi is desirable.
Willingness to travel frequently within the study sites in Punjab.
