Join a professional team managing critical IBM zSeries mainframe storage environments. This role focuses on high availability, data integrity, and complex capacity planning for enterprise-level infrastructure.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain day-to-day zSeries storage administration tasks.
Provide 24x7 on-call production support to ensure system stability.
Monitor storage performance and perform capacity planning.
Troubleshoot complex storage and dataset issues in coordination with application teams.
Configure and manage IBM GDPS/MGM environments and disaster recovery setups.
Requirements:
6–10+ years of experience in IBM DASD, VTS, DFSMS, DFHSM, and DFDSS.
Proficiency in JCL, IDCAMS, REXX, and SAS scripting.
Experience with SMS ACS routines and tape management systems.
Strong understanding of cloud tiering and encryption standards.
Advanced knowledge of multi-site DR solutions and MGM.
