Engineer Testing - Industrial Applications

SKF India is seeking an experienced Engineer Testing to conceptualize, develop, and execute comprehensive tests on industrial products in Bengaluru. • Develop and execute standardized global test procedures for evaluating SKF industrial products and systems.
• Lead and guide shopfloor technicians on testing operations, machinery resets, and final test report preparation.
• Interact directly with external clients to thoroughly comprehend and implement precise technical test specifications.
• Collaborate with internal teams and global stakeholders to ensure test completion within strict project deadlines.
• Serve as a TPM leader for the Industrial Testing Zone to enforce shopfloor discipline and 5S standards.
• Participate in Six Sigma initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and productivity of the testing department.
• Manage inventory levels for testing spares and consumables to maintain continuous laboratory operations.

• Possess a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or Mechatronics engineering.
• Demonstrate 3 to 8 years of professional experience in Product Design, Development, Quality, or Testing for industrial applications.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on exposure to testing machines, with preferred basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Strong working knowledge of advanced engineering design software, specifically Creo.
• Deep understanding of industry quality management systems, including TS:16949 and ISO:17025 standards.
