Fare Labs invites applications for the GCMS Trainee position, focusing on high-end analytical techniques for food safety and environmental analysis. This role offers hands-on experience in pesticide residual analysis and mass spectrometry method development.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Perform Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis on various sample matrices
Identify target analytes including pesticides, dioxins, furans, and PCBs in food samples
Conduct instrument setup, calibration, and analysis of more than 500 samples
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and laboratory guidelines during testing procedures
Process data using specialized software and maintain accurate documentation of results
Requirements:
Qualification: Ph.D., M.Tech, M.Sc, B.Tech, or B.Sc in Chemistry or related sciences
Commitment to complete the intensive training program and all practical exercises
Basic understanding of chromatography principles and mass spectrometry components
Ability to multitask and maintain high integrity in documentation and results
Compliance with laboratory health and safety regulations, including PPE usage
