S&P Global Market Intelligence is looking for a Manager to lead the Accessibility Engineering team in Gurugram. You will drive comprehensive accessibility strategies, ensuring digital products meet global standards like WCAG 2.2 and ADA.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive accessibility strategies across digital platforms.
Conduct accessibility audits and assessments using automated tools and manual techniques for WCAG 2.2 compliance.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers and developers to integrate accessibility into the software lifecycle.
Provide coaching and feedback to the team, fostering professional growth and accountability.
Negotiate solution timelines with product teams based on audit results.
Drive innovation by researching emerging assistive devices and inclusive design technologies.
Requirements:
8-11 years of professional experience in technology.
3+ years of hands-on experience in digital accessibility testing and evaluation.
Expertise in assistive technologies: JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, or similar.
Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.2 guidelines, Section 508, and ADA requirements.
Technical background in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ARIA implementation.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Human-Computer Interaction.
Excellent communication skills for presenting concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
