Rotoscopy Artist (Silhouette & Nuke)

Artisan Media Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Rotoscopy Artist to join our Chennai team. You will create and track precise roto shapes and mattes for high-end international VFX projects using industry-standard tools.

• Create and track rotoscopy shapes and lines for various elements within complex VFX shots.
• Generate accurate mattes to allow seamless layering of live-action and computer graphics.
• Analyze shots to determine which elements require specific roto and tracking fixes.
• Trace live-action frames where CG elements interact with or overlap live images.
• Ensure mattes perfectly reflect the motion of objects across a series of frames.
• Execute work based on visual cues and written production notes with minimal supervision.

• Expertise in Silhouette, Nuke, and Mocha Pro for rotoscopy and tracking.
• Strong artistic aesthetic and an exceptional eye for detail in motion tracing.
• Proven ability to work efficiently under tight production deadlines.
• Prior experience in Hollywood VFX projects is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Willingness to learn new production tools and techniques.
