Pigeon Foods Pvt Ltd is looking for a result-oriented Senior Procurement Specialist to join our office in Sewri, Mumbai. You will lead direct mill sourcing efforts for pulses and dry fruits, leveraging your network to optimize supply chain costs and quality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead direct procurement of pulses and dry fruits from mills.
Leverage and expand existing network of millers across India.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with suppliers.
Monitor mandi trends, crop patterns, and supply-demand dynamics.
Coordinate with finance and warehouse teams for stock management.
Maintain procurement documentation and MIS reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management.
2–5 years of experience in direct mill sourcing of rice and pulses.
Strong existing network with millers and mandi suppliers.
Advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis.
Willingness to travel for supplier visits and sourcing activities.
