NuQuants, a division of Zivanta Analytics, is seeking a high-caliber Financial Engineer to join our Kolkata team. This role offers an elite opportunity to develop sophisticated financial engines and models for top-tier US-based financial institutions and hedge funds.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Model cash flows for mortgages, futures, and options using advanced quantitative techniques.
Develop Python-based systems to estimate value changes in capital market assets.
Design and automate financial engines for daily and historical risk calculations.
Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario testing for market risk exposures.
Interface directly with US clients and platform engineering teams to optimize database structures.
Requirements:
Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, or Engineering; CFA is a plus.
Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for financial data management.
Hands-on experience with financial datasets like Bloomberg, Reuters, FactSet, or Intex.
Strong grasp of financial modeling, statistical techniques, and US banking sector dynamics.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across different time zones.
