Soul of Pluto Tech is looking for an experienced MySQL Database Administrator to manage and optimize our data systems. This role involves ensuring high performance, security, and integrity of production databases in a fast-paced environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Monitoring production database performance and efficiency
Setting up and managing DB clusters and Master-Slave replications
Managing incremental backups and data handling systems
Creating complex query definitions for data extraction
Checking the integrity and security of organizational data
Requirements:
4 to 8 years of relevant experience as a MySQL Database Administrator
Proven expertise in database design, updating, and amending existing systems
Strong knowledge of DB cluster management and replication setups
Ability to train colleagues in writing optimized queries
Experience in monitoring and testing new data handling systems
