Hospital Outpatient Surgery Coder (Denials)

Join a leading healthcare solutions provider as a Hospital Outpatient Surgery Coder. We are looking for specialists with strong expertise in denials management and surgical coding to ensure accurate claim processing.

• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS codes for hospital outpatient surgery encounters
• Analyze and resolve surgical coding denials to minimize claim rejections
• Maintain strict adherence to AAPC/AHIMA and compliance standards
• Consistently meet daily and weekly productivity and quality benchmarks

• 2–5 years of proven experience in hospital OP coding with a focus on surgery
• Solid understanding of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II systems
• Experience in denials management and resolution is essential
• Educational or professional certification (CPC, CCS, or equivalent) preferred
• Knowledge of ED (Emergency Department) coding is a significant advantage
