Roles & Responsibilities:
Supervise regulatory change monitoring and perform compliance-related research and project management.
Exercise independent judgment in formulating and implementing compliance management policies and practices.
Act as a subject matter expert on federal, state, and local laws pertaining to mortgage lending.
Coordinate preparations for monthly compliance calls and maintain a database of applicable statutes.
Assist with audit preparations including SSAE 18, SOX, and client audits.
Requirements:
Extensive experience in compliance or audit, including reading and interpreting regulatory requirements.
In-depth knowledge of RESPA, FHA, GLBA, and State Real Estate Regulatory requirements.
Proven project management skills with the ability to establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Experience in the real estate or title industry is highly desirable.
Ability to research and implement procedures to address evolving laws and regulations.
