BananaIP Counsels is looking for a Patent Associate specializing in IT and Software. You will work in a non-hierarchical, intellectually stimulating environment handling cutting-edge IP projects in AI and SaaS.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Drafting software and IT-related patent specifications and technical analysis.
Handling patent prosecution and preparing responses to office actions.
Conducting prior art searches and patentability assessments in IT domains.
Leading client meetings and technical discussions regarding innovations.
Managing international patent filing processes and documentation.
Requirements:
B.E., B.Tech, or MCA in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
Minimum 24 months of experience in software patent drafting and filing.
Strong understanding of software architecture, algorithms, and cloud computing.
Thorough knowledge of the Indian Patent Act and CRI guidelines.
Excellent technical writing and communication skills for legal documentation.
