Senior Business Analyst - SQL & Ecommerce

Vasutti is looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a full-time, client-embedded role with a large ecommerce player in Bangalore. This position is ideal for professionals with strong analytical skills and deep expertise in SQL data retrieval and business process improvement.

• Clarify business objectives and identify stakeholders to define analytical requirements.
• Identify appropriate data sources and use lookup tables to categorize dimensions for analysis.
• Collect, clean, and interpret data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance business outcomes.
• Apply advanced SQL concepts including table relationships, junction tables, and aggregate functions.
• Utilize SQL interpreters for query optimization, parsing, and complex data retrieval via subqueries.

• Bachelor's degree is required; knowledge of Data Science is a significant advantage.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the ecommerce sector.
• 3+ years of experience in developing SQL queries, table indexing, and multi-table joins.
• Expertise in nested queries, stored procedures, and SQL data types.
• Strong understanding of filtering groups using WHERE and HAVING clauses.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to stakeholders.
